Effective date: October 1, 2025
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") explains what is and is not allowed on Alpha Bazaar. It applies to all users (Subscribers and Publishers). Capitalized terms have the meanings in the Terms of Service ("ToS"). By using Alpha Bazaar, you agree to this AUP.
1) Core Principles
- General & Impersonal: Content must be educational/informational, not tailored to a specific individual's financial situation.
- Lawful & Honest: Obey all applicable laws and regulations and represent content accurately.
- Safe & Respectful: No harassment, abuse, or exploitation of others.
- Integrity of the Platform: Do not undermine security, analytics integrity, or our data/API partners.
2) What's Allowed
- Posting general market commentary, strategies, and signals for educational purposes.
- Charging for access to your content via paid subscriptions consistent with the ToS.
- Maintaining a public Disclosure Profile (affiliations/conflicts; any ongoing compensation arrangements) and adding an inline disclosure only when a specific post is compensated.
- Fair, respectful debate and good‑faith criticism.
3) Prohibited Content & Conduct (Non‑Exhaustive)
A. Investment Advice & Manipulation
- Personalized or individualized investment advice to any specific person (including via DMs, comments, or 1:1 messages).
- Posting or relying on material non‑public information (MNPI) or violating insider‑trading, tipping, or confidentiality rules.
- Manipulative or deceptive activity: pump‑and‑dump, tout‑and‑dump/manipulative scalping, wash trading, spoofing, scalping schemes, coordinated touting/brigading.
- Undisclosed touting or promotion (you must disclose any compensation you receive to mention an issuer/asset/strategy).
B. Illegal or Harmful Content
- Content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, defamatory, threatening, harassing, hateful, or discriminatory.
- Doxxing, targeted abuse, stalking, or incitement of violence.
- Malware, phishing, or content that exploits platform bugs.
C. Integrity of Performance & Metrics
- Falsifying or fabricating trades, timestamps, outcomes, or performance data.
- Coordinated attempts to game leaderboards, ratings, or integrity systems.
D. Privacy & Personal Data
- Posting sensitive personal information about others without explicit consent.
- Harvesting or collecting personal data of other users except as expressly permitted.
E. Scraping, Automation, and Competitive Use
- Using bots, spiders, crawlers, scrapers, headless browsers, or similar tools to access/query/copy the site, Content, performance data, or metadata.
- Bypassing or attempting to bypass rate limits, paywalls, authentication, robots.txt, or any technical protection measures.
- Using any Alpha Bazaar Content or data to build, train, or enhance competing products, models, or datasets without written consent.
F. Security Abuse
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data; probing/scanning ports; DDoS or similar attacks.
- Sharing or selling your account or credentials; failing to secure your login information.
G. Payments & Credits
- Payment fraud, chargeback abuse, or attempting to launder funds through the platform.
- Misuse of Referral Credits ("monopoly money"). Referral Credits have no cash value, are non‑transferable, and can be used only for eligible on‑platform purchases. Subscriptions purchased in whole or in part with Referral Credits do not generate Publisher payouts for the credited portion; payouts are due only on actual cash amounts after fees.
H. Off‑Platform Conduct
- Using Alpha Bazaar to organize or direct harassment on third‑party platforms (e.g., Discord, Telegram, X). Off‑platform conduct that creates material risk may result in enforcement.
4) Publisher‑Specific Obligations
- Standing Profile Disclosures (one-time, keep current). Publishers must maintain a public Disclosure Profile showing (i) material affiliations/conflicts (e.g., issuer/employer/affiliate/sponsor relationships), (ii) any ongoing compensation arrangements to discuss assets/issuers, and (iii) a general positions policy (e.g., "I may hold positions in assets I discuss"). Update within 7 days of any material change.
- Event‑Triggered Inline Notices (only when applicable). Add a simple inline notice on a post only if you received compensation/consideration for that specific mention. Example: "Disclosure: compensated by XYZ."
- No Personalized Advice. Do not provide individualized advice or solicit personal financial details to tailor recommendations.
- Accuracy & Integrity. Make good‑faith efforts to ensure your content and performance representations are accurate and not misleading; no fabrication or omission that would mislead a reasonable user.
- Recordkeeping Consent. You consent to Alpha Bazaar recording timestamps, edits, and audit logs for integrity and safety.
5) Communications & Marketing
- Service, account, and security communications may be sent per the ToS and Privacy Policy. Marketing communications require opt‑in and provide opt‑out (e.g., SMS STOP).
- Do not send spam, bulk, or deceptive messages; do not misrepresent affiliations or endorsements.
6) Intellectual Property & Data
- Respect others' IP. Only post content you own or have rights to share.
- Do not copy, scrape, bulk‑download, mirror, frame, resell, or redistribute Content or performance data.
- Do not use automated means to compile, train, or enhance models or datasets from Content without written consent.
- Platform Data Ownership: Alpha Bazaar owns Platform Data (e.g., timestamps, metadata, engagement, derived performance stats, leaderboards, aggregates, models/analytics, and improvements).
7) Security Expectations
- Use strong, unique passwords; enable any offered security features.
- Promptly notify support of suspected account compromise or abuse.
- Do not test, scan, or probe the platform except via approved bug‑bounty channels (if available).
8) AML, Sanctions, and KYC
- Monetized Publishers must complete payment‑processor onboarding (including KYC) and comply with AML/sanctions rules.
- We may hold or delay payouts, place reserves, offset chargebacks, or suspend monetization while investigating suspected fraud or abuse.
9) Enforcement
- We may remove content, throttle features, issue warnings, place holds, suspend or terminate accounts, block IPs, or take legal action.
- We may preserve and disclose information to payment processors, market centers, regulators, or law enforcement as legally required or to protect users, providers, the platform, or the public.
- For willful scraping, circumvention, or bulk extraction, we may seek injunctive relief and, where permitted, liquidated damages.

Report violations, harassment, or suspected MNPI/manipulation to support@alphabazaar.ai. Include relevant URLs, timestamps, and screenshots/logs where possible.
